SAVE TREASURED MEMORIES. Bedford resident David Waldman has created Treasured Memories Video, a video production company that specializes in video biographies. The company uses interviews, photos, home movies, and music to create memoir videos.

According to Waldman, “In today’s mobile society, more and more children are growing up without close ties to their grandparents. Very few children have their grandparents in their lives on a daily basis, so they miss the opportunity to learn who their grandparents really are and hear the family stories that used to get passed down from generation to generation. Video biographies are personal portraits that can offer stories, life lessons, inspiration, wisdom, and comfort to future generations.”

The interview usually takes place in the client’s home, but it can be done anywhere the client feels comfortable or has a special attachment to. The final product is a DVD or VHS tape containing the edited interview.  Photographs are inserted into the course of the interview. Additional features are available, such as background and incidental music, adding home movies or other video, additional people interviewed, and multiple locations.

Treasured Memories Video also provides more traditional event video services, like weddings and reunions, and transfer from VHS to DVD, video editing, formatting video for broadcast over the Internet, and creating photo slideshows or video pieces on CD-ROM.
